Considering these points, as well as the very good quality of sound, we would have to say that they are class leading instruments at their price points.The UKT-528EQ comes with Snails own pickup system enabling the player to plug this particular Ukulele into an amp.
This zebrawood model is a stunner. Although laminate wood, it makes a very nice sound with zingy trebles, warm bass and a very clean and clear midrange which does not sound muddy even when strummed hard. And the neck feels nice in the hand, the body is nice and lightweight – there are good things happening in the Snail factory!
