Laminate mahogany is used to make the DUBS Bass Ukulele. Mahogany is a hardwood that has been used for decades to create high-quality musical instruments. Its colour varies from a light pinkish brown to a deeper reddish brown, and it begins to darken with age. The DUBS
Electro Acoustic Bass uke is made of African Okoume while the neck and fingerboard feature Walnut. It’s a great combo that maintains smooth intonation around the fretboard. It is gentle to your fingers and looks amazing. Although the nut is a minor part, it is effective to improve the pitch of the tone. The nut and saddle are made of bone.
A preamplifier/EQ helps you to mount your ukulele to an amplifier. The preamp has a tuner, which reduces the stress of having to recall where you left your tuner the night before!
