The flight DUS322 is our only ukulele with its soundboard, back, and sides with laminate zebrawood. We love the patterns formed by this exotic wood on the ukulele, which is a true head-turner. This DUS322 Soprano ukulele sounds as amazing as it does.
The Flight DUS322 Soprano Ukulele consists of Zebrawood laminate. Zebrawood is medium brown or dark brown streaked hardwood from West Africa. When the wood motifs get finishing, they look like the stripes of a zebra. The instruments made of zebrawood look very distinctive because of their lovely coarse texture, open pores, and wavy grain. The DUS322’s neck and fingerboard are made of African walnut and okoume. It is just a marvelous composition that guarantees the fretboard is stable, easy to use, and looks good. The nut may seem trivial but plays an essential role in the quality of an instrument’s sound. The DUS322’s nut and saddle are designed with bone rather than plastic. This is only one aspect that is genuinely unique about this ukulele.
Headstock design is an indispensable element of its identity. A carefully built front headstock with tuning tuners is provided for all Flight ukuleles, which are often in harmony with each other. Small and elegant, but with outstanding security for your ukulele, flight gig bags are iconic and you can certainly turn on your heads with one dangling off your back.
