Add to WishlistThe concert size combines the best features of both worlds into a single instrument. The mahogany makes this Flight Gemstone DUC380 Concert Ukulele Amber sound like a soprano, but the scale length and cutaway give you the same flexibility as a tenor. When you add a pickup to the mix, you have a ukulele that you can play alone or in front of an audience.
The Ukulele Flight CEQ DUC380 is made from laminate mahogany. Mahogany is a hardwood that has been used for decades to build high-quality musical instruments. It is known for its bouncy, strong sound, low overtone consistency, and decent high-end response. It is very durable, and because of this, it is very stable and less likely to warp than many other wood species. African okoume and walnut wood are used for the collar and fingerboard. It is an outstanding combination that provides smooth intonation throughout the fretboard. It is indeed soft on the palms and also looks amazing.
Flight encourages you to fulfill your full artistic potential. The cutaway is not necessary, but it is there in case the adventure takes you far than you ever dreamed. The preamplifier/EQ is a device that lets you connect a ukulele to an amplifier. A strap makes holding the ukulele easier so you can keep playing for hours. Legendary gig bag offers great protection to your ukulele.
