Add to WishlistPhantom Tenor Electro Ukulele Active Pickup is a tenor scale, all-solid acacia ukulele with a unique slotted headstock and an ebony fretboard. The Phantom turns heads and intoxicates the senses with its sweet, enchanting sound. This instrument is packed with premium features including a pickup and comes at an amazing price. Ebony is a dark and dense hardwood, sometimes considered the most valuable wood in the world, which is why it is associated with high-class, premium instruments, such as Phantom.
The Flight Phantom’s body is made of solid acacia. Acacia is a wood with a long tradition of ukulele construction due to its punch, volume, and tone. Flight use only the highest-grade acacia for the Royal sequence, which sounds as beautiful as it seems. When playing, the African Mahogany neck offers stability, a warm tone, and a smooth feel. The Flight Phantom features an Ebony fingerboard that is a rich, thick hardwood, considered as the world’s most expensive wood. That’s why it is synonymous with high-end, luxury instruments like Phantom.
The Phantom comes with an ebony bridge, a bone nut, and a paid saddle. Compensated saddles not only look cool but also increase playability by properly aligning each string’s intonation for the best sound and output. By mid-2020, the Phantom models featured a passive Artec pickup. Though Flight’s iconic beige gig bag has become famous, they brought something new to this season. They chose to sell the Burgundy Red gig bag with a purple infusion. This hue is synonymous with the royal colour and gives a final touch to the Royal Sequence. The 20mm padding is thick and provides decent support for your ukulele.
