   Well, a huge sound from little bass. As a bass guitar player I often look for the string bass sound without the huge string bass. This tiny little ubass provides just that. The build quality far exceeds the price tag. No sharp frets, smooth finish and perfect intonation. It has the feel of a much more expensive instrument. It’s got an active preamp, which gives a nice range of sounds.
   The strings can be a little sticky as with all these types of strings, but a little talc soon sorts that. Thunderblacks are more stable than the Pahoehoes in terms of tuning, so hopefully over time I wont have miles of string around the capstan.
   It even comes with a high quality padded gig bag! Negatives….they don’t do a 5 string!
   What else can I say….try one…you won’t be disappointed.
